The S and P impurity content of 1015high-quality carbon structural steel is lower than that of ordinary carbon structural steel, generally below 0.035% (mass fraction). According to the carbon content, it can be divided into low carbon steel, medium carbon steel and high carbon steel; According to the different manganese content, it can be divided into two categories: ordinary manganese content and high manganese content. In addition, due to the low carbon content of No. 15 steel, it is difficult to improve the hardness of parts made of such materials after heat treatment. It needs to be heated to above 1100 ºC, which can not be handled by ordinary barium salt bath furnace, and needs to be heated by high temperature nitrate bath furnace.
