The long cylinder piston rod is made of 45 steel, and its processing route is: forging (rolling) -cutting - tempering - straightening - machining - surface quenching, tempering - straightening - rod head welding - machining - grinding - stress relief annealing - polishing - hard chrome plating - polishing - cleaning - assembly. Processing high quality hydraulic cylinder, quality assurance, piston rod heat treatment is to ensure the internal quality of the piston rod and mechanical properties of the key process, heat treatment quality is directly related to the life and reliability of the entire hydraulic system. The purpose of the tempering treatment is to make the piston rod have the comprehensive mechanical properties of strength, hardness, plasticity and toughness, and the internal structure is uniform and fine tempered sorbite, so as to prepare the organization for the subsequent surface quenching. The length of the long cylinder piston rod is 3800-4200, and the diameter is Φ90-Φ110mm, so its heating equipment uses a 150KW well resistance furnace or 600KW suspension continuous resistance heating furnace, and the temperature is controlled by two areas. Heat treatment process parameters: in the shaft furnace a furnace suspended with 4, quenching heating temperature of 830±10ºC, after holding heat for 160min divided into two times quenching, quenching 2, cooling by circulating cooling water, quenching cooling up and down, to ensure a greater degree of uniform cooling, cooling to about 100ºC (rod steam but not bubbling) water into the shaft tempering
