100Cr6/GCr15/1.3505SUJ2 :The representative steel type of high carbon chromium bearing steel has good comprehensive performance. After quenching and tempering, the hardness is high and uniform, with high wear resistance and contact fatigue resistance. Good heat workability. After spheroidizing and annealing, it has good machinability, but is sensitive to the formation of white spots. Mainly used for manufacturing steel balls, rollers, and bushings on transmission shafts of internal combustion engines, electric locomotives, machine tools, tractors, steel rolling equipment, drilling machines, railway vehicles, and mining machinery

1. Effect of quenching temperature. The normal quenching heating temperature of GCr15 steel is 830-860 ºC, and oil cooling is commonly used. The optimal quenching heating temperature is 840 ºC, and the hardness after quenching reaches 63-65HRC. Under actual production conditions, the quenching temperature used can vary slightly depending on the effective cross-sectional size of the mold and the quenching medium. For molds with large dimensions or using nitrate hierarchical quenching, it is advisable to select a higher quenching temperature (840-860 ºC) to improve the hardenability and obtain sufficient depth of the hardened layer and higher hardness; Smaller sizes or oil cooled molds typically use a lower quenching temperature (830-850 ºC). For molds of the same specification, the heating temperature in a box furnace should be slightly higher than that in a salt bath furnace.
2. Effect of tempering temperature. As the tempering temperature increases, the hardness after tempering decreases. After the tempering temperature exceeds 200 ºC, it will enter the first type of tempering brittle zone. Therefore, the tempering temperature of GCr15 steel is generally 160-180 ºC.
After quenching and tempering, the hardness is high and uniform, with high wear resistance and fatigue relief strength. Good heat workability. After spheroidizing and annealing, it has good machinability, but is sensitive to the formation of white spots. It can be used to manufacture various bearing rings with wall thickness ≤ 12mm and outer diameter ≤ 250mm; It is also used for rolling bodies with a wide range of dimensions, such as steel balls, tapered rollers, cylindrical rollers, spherical rollers, needle rollers, etc; It is also used for manufacturing molds, precision measuring tools, and other mechanical parts that require high wear resistance, high elastic limit, and high contact fatigue strength. Mainly used for manufacturing steel balls, rollers, and bushings on transmission shafts of internal combustion engines, electric locomotives, machine tools, tractors, steel rolling equipment, drilling machines, railway vehicles, and mining machinery
