1, Automotive field

4, Industrial machinery field

1. Raw material preparation Select suitable steel, such as carbon steel, alloy steel, etc., and ensure that its quality and chemical composition meet the requirements. Cut the steel to obtain billets of appropriate size.
2. Heating Put the billet into the heating furnace and heat it according to the predetermined heating curve. Heat to the appropriate forging temperature to make the steel have good plasticity and forgeability.
3. Forging Use free forging or die forging methods to forge the heated billet multiple times under a press or forging hammer. Gradually form the approximate shape of the steel ring, so that the metal fiber is distributed along the contour of the ring to improve the strength.
4. Punching If the steel ring requires a center hole, use a punching device to perform punching operations at appropriate locations.
5. Trimming Trim the initially forged steel ring to remove the excess part so that its size is closer to the final requirement.
6. Heat treatment According to the material and performance requirements of the steel ring, perform heat treatment processes such as quenching and tempering. Improve the organizational structure of the steel ring and improve the hardness, toughness and other properties.
7. Machining Use lathes, milling machines and other equipment to further process the steel ring, such as turning inner and outer circles, chamfering, etc. Ensure that the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of the steel ring meet the design requirements.
8. Quality inspection Perform non-destructive testing, such as ultrasonic flaw detection, magnetic particle flaw detection, etc., to check whether there are defects inside the steel ring. Measure parameters such as size and hardness to ensure that product quality meets the standards.
9. Surface treatment Perform surface treatment such as galvanizing and painting to improve the corrosion resistance and appearance quality of the steel ring.
10. Finished product inspection and packaging Perform the final inspection of the finished steel ring, and after passing the inspection, package it for delivery and use. The entire production process requires strict control of the parameters and operations of each link to ensure the quality and performance of the forged steel ring.
