Product Overview

This series of general-purpose high-carbon chromium bearing steel is the benchmark material for global bearing manufacturing. With precise composition design and strict cleanliness control, it features high hardness after quenching, excellent wear resistance, long contact fatigue life and good structural stability. 
All materials for machining undergo standardized spheroidizing annealing before delivery with excellent machinability. They can be directly used for subsequent machining and heat treatment, and are widely suitable for manufacturing various industrial bearings and precision wear-resistant parts.

Adopting electric arc furnace smelting + LF refining + vacuum degassing process. ESR (Electroslag Remelting) is available for high-end specifications, which effectively removes internal gas and non-metallic inclusions, ensures material cleanliness and structural uniformity, and improves bearing fatigue life from the source.

Spheroidizing Annealing

All machining materials undergo complete spheroidizing annealing before delivery. The steel is heated to 780–820℃, held for a long time and then cooled slowly, transforming the internal lamellar carbides into uniformly dispersed spherical carbide particles:
1.Greatly reduce material hardness, ensure smooth cutting performance and reduce tool wear;
2.Provide a stable structural basis for subsequent quenching, effectively reducing the risk of quenching deformation and cracking.

Final Heat Treatment: Quenching + Low Temperature Tempering

Quenching: Recommended quenching temperature is 830–860℃. Oil quenching or vacuum gas quenching are available to obtain a high-hardness martensitic matrix.
Low temperature tempering: After quenching, tempering at 150–180℃ is required to fully release quenching residual stress, reduce brittleness, stabilize structure and dimensional accuracy, while retaining high hardness and wear resistance.
