It is of moderate strength. High plasticity during cold deformation, good performance at low temperature, weldability and machinability. Compared with the corresponding carbon steel content, its hardenability is higher, the critical quench diameter in the oil reaches 4 ~ 15 mm, but the heat treatment has overheating, decarbonization sensitivity and tempering brittleness tendency. It can be used as carburized pinion gear, shaft, steel sleeve, and piston pin, cross pin, diesel engine sleeve diesel engine sleeve, valve tasht, speed gear joystick, etc. It can be used for making bolts, screws, nuts and riveted welders under hot rolling and normal condition. Used for small section parts, can replace 20Cr. It can also be used for tempering steel, such as cold heading bolts or structural parts with large sections
