C2700 has high strength and plasticity, can withstand cold and hot pressure processing well, has the tendency of corrosion rupture; C2700 brass has good mechanical properties, good plasticity in hot state, plastic can also be cold state, good machinability, easy brazing and welding, corrosion resistance, but easy to produce corrosion rupture. In addition, the price is cheap, is widely used in a common brass variety. β is much harder than α at room temperature, so it can be used for parts under heavy load, α+β two-phase brass can be hot worked above 600ºC. α+β two-phase brass microstructure: α is bright white solid solution, β is Cuzn-based ordered solid solution.
c1720 is a bronze with beryllium as its main alloy element. Containing 1.7 ~ 2.5% beryllium and a small amount of nickel, chromium, titanium and other elements, after quenching aging treatment, the strength limit can reach 1250 ~ 1500MPa, close to the level of medium strength steel.
C2680 Brass characteristics
(1) Has very good plasticity (is the best in brass) and high strength, can be good machining performance, easy to weld, very stable for general corrosion, but easy to produce corrosion cracking. It is the most widely used variety of common brass.
 (2) higher strength than copper (but in common brass, it is the lowest), good electrical and thermal conductivity, high corrosion resistance in the atmosphere and fresh water, and has good plasticity, easy to cold and hot pressure processing, easy to welding, forging and tin plating, no stress corrosion cracking tendency. The strength of C2100 is higher than that of pure copper (but lowest among common brass) and the conductivity is good. It has high thermal conductivity, high corrosive atmosphere and fresh water, good plasticity, easy to cold.
