Softening annealing
The annealing temperature is 710~740 ° C, and the holding time is determined as 1h per 25mm wall thickness Cool down in the furnace after heat preservation.
De stressing
The heating temperature is 600 ° C (annealing state), 550 ° C (quenching and tempering state), and the holding time is determined as 1h per 50mm wall thickness. After holding, it is cooled in the furnace.
Quenching and tempering
The preheating temperature is 500~600 ° C, the quenching temperature is 840~880 ° C, and the heat preservation is 30min (the mold must be quenched in a protective atmosphere to avoid oxidation and decarburization). Oil cooling, cooling to 50~70 ° C, tempering immediately. The tempering and heat preservation time shall be determined as 1h every 25mm of the workpiece thickness, at least 2h. Tempering temperature 180 ° C/200 ° C/ 300 ° C/400 ° C/500 ° C/600 ° C, hardness 52HRC/51HRC/48 HRC/46HRC/42HRC/34HRC.
Induction hardening
The surface hardness of the steel can be increased to 50HRC by flame or induction hardening treatment, and the steel can be air cooled after hardening. General quenching medium can be used for small modules, which shall be tempered immediately after hardening at a tempering temperature of 180~200 ° C.
Nitriding specification
Nitriding temperature × Nitriding time: 525 ° C × 20h, the nitriding layer thickness is 0.30mm; 525 ° C x30h, nitriding layer thickness 0.35mm; 525°C × 50h, the nitriding layer thickness is 0.50mm.
Soft nitriding
Keep soft nitriding at 570 ° C for 2h, the surface hardness of the mold is about 700HV, and the nitriding layer depth is about 0.1mm.
