C21000 has good mechanical properties, good plasticity in hot state, good plasticity in cold state, good machinability, easy fiber welding and welding, corrosion resistance, but easy to corrosion rupture, in addition to cheap price, is widely used as a common brass variety.
C22000 has very good cold forming properties and is well suited for e.g. coinage, beating, embossing. This alloy has a higher strength as pure copper.
