50CrMo4 is an ultra-high strength alloy structural steel with high strength and toughness, good hardenability and no obvious tempering brittleness. After quenching and tempering, 50CrMo4 has high fatigue limit and multiple impact resistance, and good low-temperature impact toughness. It has high creep strength and rupture strength at high temperature. 50CrMo4 steel is suitable for manufacturing large and medium-sized plastic moulds requiring certain strength and toughness. It can be used to manufacture large gears for locomotive traction, supercharger transmission gear, pressure vessel gear, rear axle, connecting rod and spring clamp with great load, and also can be used for drilling pipe joints and fishing tools in oil deep wells below 2000m, and can be used for bending machine dies, etc.
