Heat treatment
It is applicable to steel bars with nominal diameter or thickness not greater than 80mm. The mechanical properties of steel bars with nominal diameter or thickness greater than 80mm shall meet the following requirements
1. For steel bars with nominal size greater than 80~100mm, the elongation after fracture, reduction of area and impact absorption energy are allowed to be reduced by 1% (absolute value), 5% (absolute value) and 5% respectively compared with those specified in the table
2. For steel bars with nominal size greater than 100~150mm, the elongation after fracture, reduction of area and impact absorption energy are allowed to be reduced by 2% (absolute value), 10% (absolute value) and 10% respectively compared with those specified in the table
3. For steel bars with nominal size greater than 150~250mm, the elongation after fracture, reduction of area and impact absorption energy are allowed to be reduced by 3% (absolute value), 15% (absolute value) and 15% respectively compared with those specified in the table
4. It is allowed to take samples after forging (rolling) the sample blank into a section of 70mm~80mm, and the inspection results shall comply with the provisions in the table 2. The hardness in the table is the Brinell hardness value of the steel in the supply state of annealing or high-temperature tempering 3.
