Recommended quenching specifications for 5CrMnMo steel:
3Quenching temperature /ºC intermediate temperature /ºC cooling hardness (HRC) 820 ~ 850 oil 150 ~ 180 ~ 150 ~ 180ºC after the small mold cold air, large and medium mold immediately temper 52 ~ 58 Note:
1. The upper limit of heating temperature for medium forging die and the lower limit of heating temperature for small forging die are adopted.
2. In order to reduce the stress and deformation of the die after quenching, it is best to cool the air to 740 ~ 760ºC during quenching, and then cool the oil to about 150 ~ 180ºC, take out and annealing immediately;
