9260 spring steel is a widely used silicon manganese spring steel with slightly higher strength, elasticity, and quenching properties than 9255. Silicon manganese can improve Elastic Limit and yield strength ratio, quenching, tempering stability and relaxation stability. Its overheating sensitivity is lower than that of manganese steel, and its overall performance is better than that of various carbon spring steels. 9260 is widely used in the vehicle and tractor industries to produce plate springs and coil springs with heavy loads, high stresses, and large diameters.

9260 spring steel is widely used in the industrial production of automobiles, railway vehicles, and tractors. Mm spiral spring, cylinder safety valve spring, lifting hook spring, check valve spring, also suitable for production temperature of 250 ºC heat-resistant spring in the following non corrosive media, as well as large and important rolling springs and automotive shock absorption systems. They withstand alternating loads and work under high stress.
